I love building sims3 houses. I like to make traditional style houses with new modern touches. Usually with a nice basic landscape in the front and back although i am learning how to do more advanced stuff. Budgets usually make it way harder for me, but i am doing allot of the challenges to learn to budget. I can also do modern houses. but again i like to have my own twist and style on it. I have an amazing eye for detail and can turn an idea into something original and never thought of.

Hi! I have been looking for an opportunity like this. Building houses is my favorite aspect of the Sims, so much so that I hardly ever actually play the game with households. I have been entering the BNS competitions for over a year now. My favorite part of the competition is the ispiration I get from the story in the challenge and trying to meet the virtual homeowners requirements. It would be fantastic to do this for real players!

A little about myself; I am a 35yr old mother of two daughters ages 7 and 13, happily married and a college student. I've been playing the Sims since the original game and also play World of Warcraft regularly. Other favorites are sandbox, tycoon and simulation style games, like Zoo Tycoon, Roller Coaster Tycoon and Civilization. I know they are old as far as games go, but there hasn't been anything created since that really matches them in the ability you have to build.

My style is all over the place, I love it all from castles to moderns. Reproducing an actual place is one of my favorite things to do. I often get inspiration from blue prints and pictures of buildings. I find it amazing how close to the real thing it can look with the limitations of the game's building ability. I would say the one thing that I try most to accomplish when building is to ensure playability. For instance, an angled wall might look great in pictures but might not work well in play mode.

I know when I play, and from hearing my daughters and husband talk about playing, that they really prefer single story lots. This makes a lot of sense to me, because when you are playing you really want to see what is going on with each of your sims in your whole house. Who wants to constantly go between floors to check if somebody is doing what you want them to be doing? It would get very frustrating in a large family.

I own all of the store items with the exception of the two things that are on my wishlist, I have every EP (a few of them were limited so came with a few extras). I like doing architecture, landscaping and interior design. I don't really enjoy making Sims, but that is because it would be taking away from my time to build. I have worked with CAW a few times and can do basic stuff, but if a request came up that wasn't too difficult I would certainly give it a try.

Anyways, enough about me for now. I would love to be a part of the team. If you would like more information about what I can do, please let me know. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

You may want to resize them a bit to fit the page better. Sadly, the grainy texture is unavoidable with the file converter I used. I really like what you did with the place. I love the natural modern look with splashes of color for interest. The use of animal prints was very tastefully done. I agree the outdoors do seem a little sparse. Consider removing or replacing the fencing with less expensive fencing to add a few bushes or trees. One thing I always do for budget builds is go through and check that I didn't use something that was expensive when there was a cheaper similar looking item. Wallpaper and carpet can make a big difference when one is $3 and the other is $10 because they cover such a large space. Hi Frank, I added you to friends. Your work is really good! I think you would definately be an asset to the team. However, I do not think that we are currently adding more builders to the team, although as more requests start coming in I am sure we will need more builders. Kerryn does have one other person interested in joining who she added to her list (when we do begin adding more builders). I am still waiting on a response from Kerryn regarding getting her a copy of the opening post as a word.doc, I need her email to send it to her so she can repost it.

As for being on Skype, my Sims game seems to be irritable and gets very slow whenever I have anything running in the background so I usually leave everything off while I am building or playing. I will turn it on more often though, and I do check the forums several times a day so you can always catch me here if you need to.

Just so you guys know. I apologize but I am not going to complete Kari6041's request. I noticed another request thread for Kari's build. I will no longer be continuing this project for her as there are already several other builders working on it. I already put in over 10 hours of work and was 90% done. I just find it disrespectful that she requested a build from us and she did not check back in with us. I consider my time valuable as I am a college student and parent. I have sent her a message on the other thread she created letting her know.
