I stand quietly in the woods and close my eyes. I listen and feel everything around me. I don't even dare to breathe as I wait. Age: 30 (Or so. Usually RP her as an elf, so would have to think of a good human equivalent of her normal age.)
Job: Scout or hunter. She is light on her feet, and can be said to have sensitive hearing, and is unafraid to hold a weapon, or fight.
Appearance/Description: Somewhat tall, with longish black hair, and silver eyes. She seems to prefer wearing dresses, but that will likely change, as no one can afford to be picky in what they wear.
Bio: Nyria is a temperamental woman, a bit of a hot-head. First impressions play a lot into how she views someone. She is also very independent, preferring to do things by herself, and even work by herself. Yet, even so, she searches for others, survivors like her, not about to let her pride, even her vanity, to get herself killed. Mostly since she does not just have herself to think of. If she was by herself, she'd be fine with fending for herself, but she is not, and therefore is aware she will need friends if she can not do enough on her own.
Even so, she is not the most trusting.
Of her family, or what happened to them, she will refuse to speak. And of the father of Apzen, she is the least willing to speak of... to the point that she doesn't make it clear whether she does not speak of him out of pain, or out of never liking him to begin with.

Job: Housekeeping, or Gatherer (If all the girl ever has to do is help clean, then Nyria can feel content in the fact that she is as safe as possible. However, if she doesn't go far, and extra food is needed, well, gathering would be the least dangerous for her.)
Appearance/Description: Short, dark brown hair, and eyes like her mother. She too is wearing a dress when first seen. It would become apparent, before all that had happened, that Nyria was comfortably wealthy.
Bio: Nyria is very protective of her child, and at the same time, Apzen is very clingy to her, terrified of all that had happened. Enough that the bright eyed girl is often quiet. And yet, not shy, should she manage to feel comfortable enough to speak, she proves to be more talkative than her mother.

A warehouse. That was supposedly where survivors had been gathering. Nyria was thankful that she had somehow managed to learn of it. And yet, she felt uncertain of it. Could it be that it was just a trap? She hated to think that she was willing to take that risk. Maybe if Apzen was older, they could just fend for themselves, and not bother with survivors, but instead, Nyria hoped to find them, and should she manage that, to work with them, rather than against them. That was also something to think of, whether she could trust them.
She intended to do all that she could to survive, but more than that, she was going to do all that she could to keep Apzen safe.
"Not much longer," thinking that it would be quicker, Nyria had carried her daughter more than half the way, and now she spoke, hoping that she wasn't too frightened. Though, Nyria wasn't really sure if they were truly getting close. It seemed to be the right area, but she didn't want to get her hopes up, just as she didn't want Apzen to feel hopeless.
Apzen clung tighter to Nyria's dress, as if fearing she would fall. "Promise?"

Saying that she was lucky to have made it, no matter how genuine the feeling, didn't seem to be the most tactful way to approach it.
She noticed also, that Arden seemed to have been upset by something. But once more, she did not comment. It could be easy to guess what someone might be upset about- assuming it was the loss of someone- and that was a subject she didn't really want to bring up, and not from lack of care.

Considering the devastation she had seen everywhere, the number of survivors they had now seemed greater than what she knew it to be. She herself hadn't expected this many.

She stopped looking so sympathetic. "Still, I meant it. I cannot fault him for having been a hero, but have a hard time not faulting him for what he had nearly done." Maybe if their roles were reversed, she wouldn't be so harsh, or if someone she cared about had faced the same, she would of been more understanding.
She did know, how ever, that she should be thankful that as far as she knew, such wasn't the case. And she was thankful.
