Yes, very much so. Especially, when my sim goes to work and when she gets off she makes more than I do when she gets off. It takes me a few days to make what they make. She also paint's faster than me and has a better garden that I do. She ieven has my dream house.

Oh yes...

My sims make me jealous, almost daily! Alot of them are very ritch, and then they have all of this stuff in their houses, that I can only dream of having myself. They even get a house EXACTLY how I wanted mine to look in the future... My sims are little show offs!

yes all the time, haha! I wish i could have a job that i could max out in a couple of weeks. Or i could learn skills and max them out as well. I wish that my life was as easy as a sim. Their HW only takes 2 hours mine takes like 4. There are so many reasons why being a sim would be great. Oh and i want to live in sunset valley, by the beach

I'm envious of my sims all the time! When they turn into a teen, they automaticly get a driver's licence! Not to mention motherlode.... and how they never get turned down for a job! lucky them, finding gold everywhere!

I envy that my Sims are way more artistic then I am.
I can't draw or play instruments. I've tried to learn, I seem to be decidedly un-artistic and tone deaf. At least I don't hate art!

Absolutely!

Sims never have to do laundry. Just a little spin around and taadaa, new outfit, no dry cleaning necessary. I understand that the sims have it easy, but this is a real life adaptation that I would love to see technology implement.

Plus sims don't lose their hair. That's gotta be convenient.

Yes!! How easy it is for them to get jobs and stuff. And how easy it is for them to get a boyfriend!!!! It took like 2 1/2 sim days for my sim to get engaged!!!!

It's so easy for her to climb to the top of her career and she can easily afford everything she wants!

Though something I don't envy her is me making her work when she's about to faint from exhaustion!!!

I envey them all the time. Lets see kids take less to take care off getting saa babysitter is easy. never have to do laundry. and of course my favorite is MOTHERLODE. relationships are put together in minutes instead of weeks or months. what is there not to envy

Ya I am envious of my Sims. Their lives are so much more exciting then mine. But their lives could be more exciting because I spend all my time making their lives exciting rather then making mine exciting I wish I could lose weight like them or not be shy when going up to a stranger. Come on, I would NEVER go up to some random person on the street and give a "Friendly Introduction" I am envious of my sims, but then again, I am lucky I don't have a crazy person running my life, I wouldn't want to jump in a pool only to find out there are couches all around it and now I can get out.

There are a few things I envy in my female Sims. They wake up without bed head and their makeup is always perfectly applied after a nights sleep. They also do not have to shave their legs/under arms and they do not have to tweeze their brows to maintain that perfect shape. I also like how my SimSelf doesn't have to keep getting her shocking red chunks retouched. Unless this is all done in the spin action while they are dressing and I'm just missing it.

Haha yess!

It's no fair how thier life is so easy (compared to RL). They don't have to worry about serial killers, child support, Sickness (in TS3), etc.

And I extremley envy how a sim with no hair can go to the mirror and a few miniutes later, they have a full head of hair hanging down to thier shoulders. D= I wanna completley change my hair style/color in that ammount of time!

Of course, they don't have illness. My sims can do and enjoy things I can only dream of.

For one thing, they can grow a garden without having the deer and rabbits raid it!

Yes I Envy my Sims quite a lot these days. They seem to get paid more then I do, I think of the daily spending sprees I could do with all that money.

I envy the fact that my sim's body is fitter than mine, they always seem to keep their bodies trim without any need to break a sweat.

My Sim always get's more sleep than I do, and never seem to suffer from Insomnia.

I envy the world in which my Sim lives, there are no freak weather storms that could kill.

My Sim lives in a world full of peace, no wars, no famine. Everything looks peaceful that way our earth should be.

My Sim has no stresess that haunt us in real life. All my Sim has to do is to watch TV in order to destress.

I could go on all day about how Jealous I'am about my Sims. But as my Sim has the ability to have a long lifspan or Ambrosia and I don't, I'd better stop here.

Haha Definitely! I love my simself because she doesn't seem to have the in-depth problems of life! Like relationships, jobs, bills and other stuff! Life just seems so easy for her. Totally envious !

Nah. I don't envy her, exactly. She's great and all, but I love my life!
Besides, I don't like how everytime I try to repair something, I get electrocuted and my house catches on fire. That's no fun.

i envy my sim because i made her really amazing

she's just turned adult, she has a husband who adores her and is great friends with all her kids

she's tall, athletic, looks amazing in all the outfits i design for her

she's popular and she's a great mom - always seems to have a kid in her arms when she's watching tv, on the phone, etc etc

she can cook, she's handy, she throws great parties, she is a great mom, has a great life and house and still has a long life ahead of her

Yes!

1. It is so easy to make a lot of money in the Sims. Getting a job/promotion is easy...no interview required. They can make more in 1 day than I do all month. Buying a dream house takes little time.

2. Free clothes!! (well besides the cost of a dresser). And hairstyle changes are quick and free.

3. They learn the guitar quickly...I wish I could do that.

4. Parenting a baby/toddler is so much easier for a sim. All a sim toddler will do is play quietly with their toys, and they don't cry very much.

5. They can turn aging off

Even though I picked traits that most resemble myself, my sim is definitely more outgoing than I am. I wish I could get myself to walk up to perfect strangers and introduce myself. I also envy their ability to read and learn a skill, take a taxi for free to work, and go to the beach whenever they feel like it.

I love this game so much! A lot of times I'd rather play than socialize with real people. I know I need to cure myself of this.

i would love to have a job like that! performing expirements on stuff at home, also having a pretty good looking wife! Thats the life!

He can "WooHoo" whenever he wants!! AWESOME!!
He's one lucky guy, seriously, he has the lucky trait.

I need a steel bladder...badly...my sim is lucky to have one, i hate them long journeys with my parents and you need to pee, but they just say "We'll Be There Soon." and then like an HOUR later you get to pee!
Maybe i should surgically get a steel bladder put in
...And THAT'S why i envy my sim!

I get jealous because on the sims they have a lifetime wish like many many people do, but with their's you can just think 'i'm going to level this up to 10, write a book and i'm done'.
The sims just get down to it and get things done, whereas in real life, people hardly ever have their wishes fullfilled...it makes me jealous.

I am because the sims are us to the extreme. Like the acne in the sims 2 is exactly how we think it looks in real life. And their expressions... so perfect. Can you imagine flirting like they do :o) I wish some days I could look up in the sky and grumble when I have to do something I don't want and know at least someone is getting a laugh from it.

I think everyone becomes the victim of envying their sims at some point.
It's fun to watch them love, live, hurt and cry the way we all do, but that the same time they have it so much easier than us. Even being homeless can be pretty fulfilling in the sims.

But sometimes I play the devils advocate, not a good day to be a sim when the graveyard needs to be stocked

I'm constantly envious of my sim. They make more money in a day than I do in a month, and they live in my dream home.
They can get money whenever they want (motherlode).
They learn skills faster than I can. Who wouldn't want to master the guitar in three days tops?

Quite a few things I envy; my simself can change clothes just by spinning around really quick, and never has to do the associated laundry. He's got a much cooler job, one I've always wanted, and he's got access to much cooler clothing than anything I see in the stores here. As if that's not enough, he's got a healthy relationship with a rather attractive woman while I myself haven't the motivation to go out and get something similar. Curse you simself, curse you to the netherworld.

For all the reasons I've ever envied my Sim:

- The ability to work out for as many as 12 hours at a time, and go from fat to thin and buff in like two days.

- The ability to go up to anyone, especially beautiful women, make a charming introduction, and (in the case of one such encounter) marry her by day's end.

- The ability to do whatever needs doing without complaining for as long as it needs done.

- The ability to spin dry or spin-change clothes.

- The ability to fix something by beating it with a hammer.

- The ability to write novels on command without the least bit of inspiration except for three clicks of -my- mouse.

- The ability to WooHoo six times in a row without ever stopping for air.

- The ability to be a doctor without 8 years of school and the subsequent internships.

- The ability to become effectively immortal simply by becoming a master fisherman, gardner, and chef.

- The ability to catch a robotfish and mount it on his wall. What a conversation piece.

- The ability find an endless supply of precious gems that he can quickly and easily turn into cash or just hang on his wall.

- The ability to 'live' in a house with one 3ft piece of wall attached to a toilet and a terrible bed, all the while doing everything necessary for life in the local (free!) gym and library.

There's plenty more, but I feel as though I've taken up enough space.

i grow jeaulous how one of my sims can live forever (no, aging is NOT off, the sim can make ambrosia very ofteen as is SILL a young adult (normal ageing speed).

Ah yes, envious of the sims. Don't you know it.
Improving and building friendships would be nice if it were as easy as it is in the sims, especially if you could see a box saying what you're 'friends' think of you.

Also, I need a bit of Ctrl+C in my life at times, y'know, maybe the odd kaching, the daredevil motherlode. Possibly the SetHour (ideal for school work)ooh and JokePlease (correct?) because a like a little joke now and again.

My sim has a lot of romantic freedom that I don't have. She can move to a new home with infinite choices whenever she wants. She can build a new custom home if she wants , and customize anything from furniture to her car , to clothing, and use money cheats the whole way there, AND she can go to any newspaper or computer and get hired at any entry level job available just by a mouse click with no resume or interview. What more can I say?

Oh yeah and I almost forgot, she can hire a nanny and ignore her kids all day if she wants

From your list, these are definitely ones I envied my Sim for. If I could change clothes while spinning, I'd feel like a super hero.

The reason I love all sims games, is mostly because I can play people I always wanted to be.

I am not envious of how fast their lives go by tho. True, life it self flies by quickly but not as fast on the game.

While I am a human (and not a Sim):

I have to clean out my fish tanks.

My dishes do not magically unload themselves from the dishwasher and reappear after a few minutes of chopping and stirring.

My paintings don't even sell for $6.

I can press control-shift-c all I want and a cheat box never appears above my head.

Fruit will rot in my backpack if I leave it there long enough.

I have to actually search to find a publisher of my books.

And, finally:
When I woo-hoo, I have to make sure I'm doing something more than not choosing "Try for baby" to prevent familial additions.

So, yes. I am jealous of my Sims.

That's the sillest thing I've ever heard.
Of course their everyday tasks take much quicker and are much easier than real life, but that's why I like playing the game. I like playing a "fantasy" world, if I were jealous and wished that my life could be like my sims, then how could I be able to escape from reality?

I must admit, I'm pretty jealous of the cheats. If I were able to gain $50,000 with just the tap of a few buttons. Who wouldn't want that? Another thing would be how it's so easy to get A at school in the game. All my sims have to do is do their work and be happy. In real life, people actually have to put in effort when doing their homework.

Every time I play I'm jealous! Making friends and keeping them is waay less complicated in real life. Also, I want to be able to change my outfit on the spot! I wish that I could spend a few hour in the gym and look great when I'm done, and be able to gain skills that easily. I would like to find gems in my backyard and be able to sell them. Most of all, it's not fair that I will never get to live in the houses I build for my sims!

Gosh! I have envies just quite about everything about my sim, I guess that is what makes me so cheerful to play it most times. Like I have envied my sims love relationship to their houses and of course to their looks. I like making my sims all the way I wish to be =p Seriously sometimes I am so envious I would rather make suffer, haha just kidding!

Yeah, definitely.
They can pretty much have any houses they want and have all their wishes fulfilled, i dont get any of mine fulfilled irl! and they can get all sorts of nice clothes in any patterns and colours they want. they also get to have any hairstyle and colour in the click of a button, and if its not nice just revert back to their old one that doesnt happen for me! they can also be brought back to life, and thats something thatll never happen to me! and a few hours on a treadmill for them and theyre thin! a few hours on mine at home..and nothing but being quite exhausted XD gah! and if they dont like their house they can have it changed anyway, in just a few clicks. i cant

I guess the biggest thing I envy about my sims is the ability to interact with ghosts.

lol I wish I could get skinny and fit in just three days.
I wish I could make as much money as they do without going to school. Sit all day to read and practice on the right skills for promotion sounds like a perfect perfect life : )

Oh there are so many things I get jealous of. Sometimes I build just the right house and decorate it just my style. I can see myself walking through it and it never fails either...I always let out a little sigh, thinking...if only...

I love playing the Sims...especially Sims 3 because they became a little more realistic...just a touch more and sometimes I feel satisfaction to see them have to go through the same things I go through...but they still got it better

Overall, I can't see how anyone could answer that they don't get jealous a little bit. How can you not? Even if you have everything in the world...bet you didn't get it as fast as the sims did lol!

Edit: Here is a devious thought lol. EA you should add "chance," into the game. Allow sims to buy lottery tickets of some kind to see if they can get a chance to win some extra cash. I think it would make us feel good to see our sims lose like we really do lol

They get to fast forward life.
They get any job they want, without having to go to school.
They can have really short hair one day and the next really long hair.

And if you chose the wrong wallpaper , theres no need to fret as you can easily press the undo button!

Oh of course. On average, Sims have a much longer life span and live in a world with very little disease. If a neighbor hears your burglar alarm, they rush over to see if you're okay (or just to watch, but still...). Bosses take a Sims's good mood into account when deciding who should be promoted.

I think what I envy the most, though, is that my Sims live in such a nice, peaceful town. Sure, you get the insane jerk and the masked robber every now and then, and there is that very suspicious warehouse...but overall, they live in such a nice place.

I am jelous, they are soon to be in my dream home I drew up in my drafting class many many many years ago. So nice to see it other than on paper but the house they are in now is nice as well and they are happy which makes me happy

I am also jelous cause I cant grow a plant for anything..LOL Wishing there was the green thumb trait and lifetime reward purchase in real life.

I have loved the Sims since the first one came out, its totally awesome playing god. Much like Sim City then have every disaster you can think of wreck it and rebuild.

Yes!

I re-created my husband and myself. I was envious of the fact that my Sims could live on the front lawn and build their dream house around them. My husband and I, in real life, had to save and save, so we could make a down payment on a house - that's not even our dream house. Well it's a nice house, nonetheless, and it's our very first one!

But I sure wish I could just live on the lawn and build the house around me with no major inconvenience to our lives!

You have no idea! I love my Sim. He's everything I wish I was. He's in shape, and the family has money. They live in my dream home, and own everything I really wish I could have.

I envy my Sim's ability to get promoted every day just because he's good friends with his boss and co-workers-- and the daily bonuses!

I don't really envy my Sim's houses though... I'm not really the best builder, haha, so most homes I make are boxes with windows/doors. I do, however, envy their abilities to move furniture at the click of a button! I wish it was that easy in real life!

Yes! The Sim that I made is a more perfect version of me (as if I could get anymore perfect...jk! :mrgreen! She looks (kinda) like me, has ah-mazing clothes, a rockin' body, and is swimming in cash! Jealous much!

Haha yes! Im always jealous that my Sims can cook all this wonderful food and it only takes a few tries for it to be perfect! I however cannot cook AT ALL! No matter how much I try

I also envy their opportunities! If everyone who wanted to be a Rock Star could just go to the Theatre and apply for a job I would be so there!

Hello all simmers. I am new to The Sims 3, only started playing this game 3 days ago. So far on my 4th week in game time. I like my Sim character able to adopt kid even he is single. Love his hairstyle and also envy at Tina's gardening skill! She is right now level 9 garderners with lots of plants she harvest daily. The downside I don't envy of her is that she looks too loney when she watering her crops

Yes I do envy my sims, all the time. They live in a world that is almost perfect, except the minor times we make them do evil things lol. Anyways, they can get jobs easily, which im so jealous of. If we were to just let them be in the neihbourhood to go about there everyday lives without us, it would be a very peaceful world to watch.

I wish I could lose weight like a sim... a few hours on a treadmill and poof! Thin!

Also, the ability to change hairstyles with a click of a button/ How cool would that that be?

Pregnant for three days, a little groaning and a trip to the hospital for an hour or two and you have a baby (not to mention no hospital bills) - If that were real life the world really would be over populated! (LOL)

I envy the fact that the never have to do their hair, prepare their makeup, and for some of them, not work. I'd love to go to a park and earn over $1000+ playing guitar and songs I learnt in an hours time.

Although one thing I don't envy is their short lifespan

There are definitely times I'm jealous of my sims... 75 and sunny every day?! I would love that. I hate the cold, and I also hate when it's too hot. Plus this way, they always know for sure they can have a picnic in the park or an outdoor wedding! (Edit: Not saying I don't want to see seasons/weather in future expansions...)

Not to mention they all have incredibly lovely backyards that just pop up in a second! They don't know how long I spend trying to make sure everything looks just right while their lives are paused. I don't have any garden space in my apartment! They are lucky!

Yes! In The Sims 2 they played The Sims 3 MONTHS before me!!!

In The Sims3 I don't envy them because they are all dirt poor with no jobs and 6 kids.

I envy that my artistic sim can paint and sell a painting at the press of a button. In real life it takes a lot more study, sketches, leg work and self-promotion to get paintings created and sold. Ah, if only...

I have envied my sims because of there awesome houses! there inability to do other things if they are tired! (I wish we had that in real life and could get away with it) I also envy them eating life fruit (I wish!) and also how they can get money instantly if you use the motherlode cheat!

Yes and no.
They have so many clothes and never have to wash them.
They live in such safe towns but at the same time their lives are dependant on the human controlling them.

Sometimes I've envied my Sims. I do so whenever I do the motherlode cheat. But not so much when they only live 80-100 days or when they die some horrible death.

I don't know about you guys but I think I am falling in love with one of my Sims. She is sooo hot and I just can't seem to not just sit and stare at here daily. She is perfect and I do not know what to do as my heart will be broken If I cannot have her.

The teenagers in the game have so much more independence than I feel I do. They can pretty much go anywhere in the town they want, without their parents caring at all. So yeah, I am jealous of all of my teen sims!
